The Knowledge Exchange is a response to an identified need for increased information exchange in the Southern African region. It has been developed as a broad collaboration of partners, with the CSIR acting as the custodian.

Buhle Farmers' Academy (BFA) is a nonprofit organisation whose mission is to train new and aspiring farmers from across South Africa to run farming businesses that are both profitable and sustainable and to help alleviate poverty by creating jobs in our own agricultural sector.

Over the years, Buhle has developed a number of best practices that, if replicated effectively, would make a huge difference in the transformation of the agricultural sector of our country on a national level.

EE Publishers (Pty) Ltd is a private, limited liability company, registered in the Republic of South Africa in terms of the Companies Act, 1973.

The primary activity of EE Publishers is publishing in the print and electronic media, with a particular focus on the energy, electrical, electronics, measurement, automation, control, computer, information, geo-informatics and communication technology sectors of Southern Africa. Other activities include production services and event management.

South African Local Government Association is an autonomous association of all 257 South African local governments, comprising of a national association, with one national office and nine provincial offices. Membership of the association is voluntary. SALGA accounts to its members in terms of the SALGA Constitution (as amended in 2016) and it’s Governance Framework regulating its structures and mandating processes.

The South African Land Observatory is an initiative whose overall objective is to promote evidence-based and inclusive decision-making over land resources in South Africa. As its name ‘Observatory’ suggests, it collects data and information on land. The initiative is a repository of what is published on land in South Africa and on the events that take place around land in South Africa.

The HSRC Press is a non-profit publisher committed to the dissemination of high quality social science publications, in print and electronic form. The HSRC Press is a hybrid press, with a mandate to disseminate Human Sciences Research Councilresearch output and other valuable social science research. It supports the social science research community through a strong commitment to ‘opening access to quality social science in Africa’.

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) was established as a development coordinating conference (SADCC) in 1980 and transformed into a development community in 1992. It is an inter-governmental organisation whose goal is to promote sustainable and equitable economic growth and socio-economic development through efficient productive systems, deeper co-operation and integration, good governance and durable peace and security among fifteen Southern African Member States.

Trade & Industrial Policy Strategies (TIPS) is an independent, non-profit, economic research institution based in Pretoria, South Africa. It was established in 1996 to support economic policy development, with an emphasis on industrial policy, in South Africa and the region.

TIPS has three main areas of work: trade and industrial policy; inequality and economic inclusion; and sustainable growth.

The University of Johannesburg is a public university located in Johannesburg, South Africa.
