ProMara: Kenya

The Collaborative Management of the Mara – Mau (PROMARA) project was created in response to an urgent need to protect the Mau Forest Complex. PRRGP (with funding from USAID/Kenya) will soon launch the PROMARA project to promote conservation, sustainable management of resources, and sustainable livelihood activities in the upper Mara River catchment—the source of urban water supplies for Nairobi.
