Phuhlisani began as a consultancy started by a group of people who wanted to support emerging farmers who obtained access to land through land reform programmes in South Africa. In 2015, after 12 years in operation as a Closed Corporation, the members of the company decided to convert Phuhlisani to a Non-Profit Company which took place in October 2015.

Phuhlisani NPC provides comprehensive services and support for sustainable land reform and rural development including:

Tarangal Mohila Kollayan Songstha A non-government, non-profitable and non-political organization established in 1996 with all levels of women for benefiting the distress families of Jamalpur. It stared vocational training and income generating activities with support from World Food Program (WFP) in the year 1997 and continued up to 2002.

"Urban LandMark" is short for the Urban Land Markets Programme Southern Africa. Based in Pretoria, the programme was set up in May 2006 with seven years of funding from the UK's Department for International Development until March 2013. The initiative is now hosted at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in South Africa.

The Centre distills key learning points from Singapore’s urban development journey since its independence in 1965, while creating knowledge to address emerging urban challenges. In this way, the initiative helps catalyse and inform implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the New Urban Agenda, and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement.

 Les pays membres de l'Union économique et monétaire ouest-africaine (UEMOA), se préparent à se doter d’un système d’information foncière en zone urbaine. Et selon les informations, le Togo, suite à la réunion des Ministres chargés de l'urbanisme, de l’habitat et du foncier urbain dans la zone, tenue à Dakar fin novembre, va apporter son expertise à l’espace communautaire en ce sens.

Mozambique

Rome, le 2 juin 2021 – Le 28 mai 2021, le Président de la République du Mozambique, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, a lancé un projet visant à réduire la pauvreté et à accroître la production et les revenus grâce à l’aquaculture au profit de plus de 88 000 petits producteurs piscicoles dans les zones rurales. Le projet a été inauguré à Chitima, dans la province de Tete.
