The present Ordinance implements the Land Survey Act of 19 May 2005. Article 1 establishes that the government shall allocate the works of the official land survey and define the rights and obligations of the surveyors. The Construction and Infrastructure Office shall be the competent authority according to article 3 of the afore-mentioned Act.

The present Ordinance implements the Spatial Information Act of 15 December 2010.The Ordinance regulates the levying of fees for use of spatial information of the “Geo-Data Infrastructure Liechtenstein”. The text consists of 13 articles divided into 3 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Fees (II); Transitional and final provisions (III).

In implementation of the Alpine Convention of 1991, the Signatory Parties have concluded this Protocol to promote their cooperation in matter of territorial planning and sustainable development. The Protocol is divided into five Chapters: (I) General Provisions; (II) Specific Measures; (III) Research, Education and Information; (IV) Enforcement, Control and Assessment; (V) Final Provisions.

This Protocol has been adopted by the Contracting Parties to implement the Alpine Convention as regards soil conservation. The Protocol takes into account the functions of the Alpine soil as a natural resource, as an archive of natural history, as a location for agricultural use including pasture farming and forestry and as a source of raw materials.

The present Ordinance implements the Agriculture Act of 11 December 2008. In particular, the Ordinance regulates: a) public funding of certain buildings, facilities and soil improvements measures; b) authorization of irrigation facilities and drainage facilities in agricultural zones being without government aid.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to soil improvement in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Article 1 establishes that soil improvements are measures having the purpose to maintain, increase or restore the productivity of the soil, as well as to facilities its cultivation.
