They also provide with respect to environmental impact assessment, land use planning, sustainable development and prohibition and monitoring of activities within designated zone that have an impact on the environment. A proposal for the designation of an area as a special economic zone may be submitted by any person to the Special Economic Zones Authority.

    These Regulation amend, for England, Part 2 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 so as to insert a new section (33ZA) on fixed penalty notices for contravention of section 33(1)(a) of the Act. The new section allows a waste collection authority in England to issue a fixed penalty notice for a contravention of section 33(1)(a) of the Act. Section 33(1)(a) prohibits a person from depositing controlled waste or extractive waste in or on any land unless in accordance with an environmental permit.

    These Regulations, made by the Minister under sections 117(2A) and 162 of the Local Government Act, amend the Local Government (Exemption from Building and Land Use Permit) Regulations 2015 in the Schedule to the principal regulations by deleting the words “(Individual)”, “(Self-employed)” and “(Individual/Homebased)” wherever they appear. The Schedule sets out "classified trade", which are generally exempted from applying for a Building and Land Use Permit.

    These Regulations amend the Compulsory Purchase of Land (Prescribed Forms) (National Assembly for Wales) Regulations 2004 by inserting new Form 9A and replacing Forms 10 and 11. The amendments apply in relation to a compulsory purchase order which is made by the Welsh Ministers or which is subject to confirmation by the Welsh Ministers. Form 9a concerns the Statement of Effect of Parts 2 and 3 of The Compulsory Purchase (Vesting Declarations) Act 1981.

    These Regulations amend the Common Agricultural Policy Basic Payment and Support Schemes (Wales) Regulations 2015 and the Common Agricultural Policy (Integrated Administration and Control System and Enforcement and Cross Compliance) (Wales) Regulations 2014 by inserting provisions which provide that there will be a national reserve established by the Welsh Ministers setting out, in priority order, how funds in that reserve will be used.
