    This Decree-Law, consisting of 7 Chapters and three Annexes, regulates the preparation and implementation process of the Plans for the Management of Coastal Zones and the Adjacent Sea (POOC_M). This Plans are territorial management tools containing a set of actions for the coastal zone management, which interventions are planned for the terrestrial areas, referred as 'onshore', and areas called as 'adjacent sea areas'.

    This Decree-Law, redefines the Southern Integral Tourism Development Zone (ZDTI) of "Baia das Gatas" within the island of São Vicente. It establishes new configuration of the above mentioned zone, taking into account that the previous amendment did not take into account the people agglomeration of the Northern ZDTI of the Baia das Gatas that is contained in the Southern ZDTI.

    This Decree-Law regulates the approval of coastal zone management plans. It consists of 19 articles and 2 Annexes dealing with the requirements to be satisfied by the aforementioned plans (called POOC) in compliance with the preservation of marine habitat, valorization of existing coastal zone resources and conservation of environmental and landscape values.

    This Decree-Law is composed of 12 articles and two annexes. It rules on the land management plans of river estuaries (POE). In particular, it defines the scope of application of POEs, mainly aimed at protecting the water and ecosystems through an integrated management. POEs shall be defined their respective Hydrographic Regional Administrations. The Annex lists the estuaries that shall adopt POEs.
