This Act includes article 21-A to Act No. 8.171 concerning agricultural policy. New article defines the areas subjet to the desertification process within the national territory. Such areas may be exploited only by applying an adequate management plan and by using new technologies in order to stop the desertification process and to improve the deserted areas.

This Decree, consisting of 7 articles and six Annexes, approves the Table of Classification of the Urban and Rural Land Uses and Activities of the Distrito Federal. In the Classification of Urban and Rural Uses and Activities of the Federal District, the activities are framed in the following uses: I - Urban: (A) residential as set out in Annex I; (B) as set out in Annex II; (C) industrial, as set out in Annex III; (D) institutional, as set out in Annex IV; (E) provision of services as set out in Annex V; II - Rural, as set out in Annex VI.
This Decree is composed of 16 articles and institutes the National Program on Support and Regularization of Rural households, addressing the registration of rural properties and defining sanctions for non-compliance with the provisions set therein.

This Law, composed of four Chapters divided into 83 articles, regulates the Programme “Minha Casa, Minha Vida” on regularization of urban settlements. It aims to support municipalities in building new houses in order to help families to get one, giving priority to people living within informal settlements of urban areas. The Law pays special attention to sustainable urban projects and it also defines criteria to evaluate them.
This Law, consisting of 8 Chapters establishes reform, settlement and colonization of vacant lands belonging to the State of Piauí. The Institute for Reform and Land Regularization - INTERPI is the competent body for the management and administration of land policy in the State of Piauí, in accordance with State Law No. 3.783 of 16 December 1980. The INTERPI may create support offices inside the State, called Land Governance Office aiming to accelerate the fulfillment of its objectives. Land regularization includes rural and urban public land of the State of Piauí.

This Order, consisting of 14 articles and 5 Annexes, regulates land cadastre management of rural farms, farmers and farms. It establishes that management of rural land cadastre in locations subject to the action of IDARON Agency, including as a result of cooperative arrangements or agreements, shall be governed by the provisions of this Regulation. The registration of rural farm and farmer will be issued upon request of the Company, directly or through its authorized representative, and will be accompanied by specific documents.
