The purpose of these Regulations is to protect and improve agricultural environment, prevent and control agricultural environmental pollution and ecological destruction, rationally develop and utilize agricultural natural resources. The Regulations consist of 37 Articles divided into 5 chapters: General provisions; Supervision and administration; Measures for protection, prevention and control; Legal liabilities; Supplementary provisions.
Cette loi fixe le cadre juridique général et les principes fondamentaux de la gestion de l'environnement au Cameroun. Les principes fondamentaux sont ceux de prévention, de précaution, le principe pollueur-payeur et celui de responsabilité, le principe de participation et celui de subsidiarité des normes coutumières en absence d'une règle de droit écrit. Les ressources naturelles et d'une manière générale l'environnement font partie du patrimoine commun de la Nation.

These Regulations provide for the management and development of the Wooddale Agriculture Development Area. They contain provisions on planning, administration of the area, access rights, road construction, residential buildings, quarry, mining and drilling, residential uses, silviculture and farming.
