Le Togo a connu une forte croissance économique dont la poursuite devra être soutenue par l’amélioration du secteur foncier. La croissance économique de plus de 5% annuellement depuis 2009 est parmi les meilleurs du continent. Cette évolution s’est accompagnée d’une réduction de la pauvreté qui demeure cependant élevée à environ 55% (2015). La ville de Lomé a été l’un des piliers de ce développement, servant de base arrière au Port de Lomé, principal moteur de l’économie du pays.

Este estudio proporciona un análisis completo de la estructura de las políticas públicas de apoyo al sector agropecuario de Panamá, utilizando la metodología de la OCDE de Estimados de Apoyo al Productor (PSE en sus siglas en inglés). La metodología PSE se enfoca en dos elementos principales de apoyo: (i) el efecto de la política gubernamental sobre los precios recibidos por los productores agrícolas, y (ii) el apoyo proporcionado a través de transferencias presupuestarias al sector.

Este es el primer estudio de Estimados de Apoyo al Productor que se ha realizado para Panamá, y es el resultado de la colaboración entre la iniciativa Agrimonitor del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) y el Ministerio de Desarrollo Agropecuario (MIDA) de Panamá.

According to the UN, women’s empowerment has five components: women’s sense of self-worth; their right to have and to determine choices; their right to have access to opportunities and resources; their right to have the power to control their own lives, both within and outside the home; and their ability to influence the direction of social change to create a more just social and economic order, nationally and internationally.
