    These Regulations amend the Regulations made under the Sectional Titles Act, 1986 with respect to various matters, with various references to the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act, 2011. Matters concern mainly documentation and certification. Regulation 30 on management rules as contemplated in section 35 (2) (a) of the Sectional Titles Act, 1986 and regulation 39 on arbitration are repealed.

    This Act amends the Integrated Coastal Management Act, 2008 with respect to a wide variety of matters including composition coastal public property, access fees, purposes for which coastal public property is established, reclamation of land by public authorities for state infrastructure and other purposes, the declaration of state-owned land as coastal public property, establishment of coastal management lines for protection purposes, award of coastal use permits on coastal public property and unlawful structures on coastal public property.

    This Act makes provision with respect to improved administration of municipalities and related matters. It defines powers and functions of municipal authorities and concerns, among other things, development of culture of community participation and integrated development planning. Each municipal council must, within a prescribed period after the start of its elected term, adopt a single, inclusive and strategic plan for the development of the municipality. The Act also defines regulation-making powers of the Minister.

"Immovable asset" means any immovable asset acquired or owned by government, excluding any right contemplated in the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002.The Act defines duties and powers of national and provincial authorities in relation with effective asset management including the disposal of state lands and lays down principles of immovable asset management.
