    This Decree sets the provisions aimed to categorize and to be considered when approving the interventions and works not subject to mandatory landscape authorization, the interventions that can be requested with simplified authorization procedure, some specific obligations for particular categories of intervention (as listed and classified in the Annex).The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

    The aim of this Regional Act is to minimize abandonment of agricultural lands in the regional territory. To this end it established the Regional Database on Agricultural Lands, which shall include all abandoned lands and pastures available for lease or concession.

    This Regional Act abolishes the Regional Agency for Parks and the Regional Agency for Soil Protection and provides for the rearrangement of administrative functions in this field. Subsequent amendments are laid down to regional provisions concerning the management of protected areas.

    The Decree regulates the discharge of the substances contained in Lists I and II of Annex A into surface waters, marine territorial and coastal waters. It regulates also the powers and duties of the Government and of the Regions, with particular regard to the establishment and implementation of measures for the protection of the environment. The discharge of dangerous substances must be authorized by the Province or the competent sewerage service. The authorization has a validity of four years and is renewable according to the procedure of article 9.

    These provisions set out the legislative framework governing the rehabilitation of polluted sites of regional interest (which are defined under article 3). The regional authority is in charge of the adoption of the regional plan on rehabilitation of polluted sites (art. 4); articles 5 and 6 define the functions of the Provinces and Municipalities in this field.

    This Regional Act aims at the protection and restoration of land and at the same time lays down provisions on the preservation of water resources and their exploitation for irrigation. The Act provides for the subdivision of the regional territory into restoration districts, as specified in article 2. Further provisions define the functions of consortia involved in land restoration and water resources preservation.

    This Regional Act provides for the reclamation and improvement of abandoned or uncultivated lands and lands which are insufficiently cultivated, within the environmental protection framework. Article 2 gives the definition of abandoned land, uncultivated land and insufficiently cultivated land. Within nine months from the entry into force of this Act, the Regional Council shall determine the abandoned lands falling within the regional territory. Thereafter, the Regional Council shall establish the criteria for the agricultural or forest use of such lands.

    The purpose of this Legislative Decree is to achieve integrated prevention and control of pollution arising from the activities listed in Annex I, in order to reach a high level of protection of the environment taken as a whole. It lays down measures aimed at reducing and preventing emissions in the air, water and land from said activities ( which are, among others, energy industrial activities, production and processing of metals, waste management ). An authorization is compulsory to operate all or part of installations listed in Annex I.
