La région du Logone Oriental est une zone pétrolifère à vocation
agricole. Plus de 80 % de la population vit des activités agropastorales. Dans
les années 2000, la croissance de la population et la mise en place des
infrastructures pétrolières a conduit à une restriction des terres agricoles. Dans le
contexte de l’exploitation pétrolière, la terre a pris une autre importance. Elle
est disputée par les pétroliers pour l’installation de leurs infrastructures et par

O artigo apresenta uma pesquisa sobre o Parque Natural do Fogo, na ilha do Fogo, em Cabo Verde, tendo como foco as sociocosmologias caldeirenses. A pesquisa etnográfica foi realizada em Chã das Caldeiras, na qual explorei alguns contextos cosmopolitas onde o cosmos e a política não estão isolados. A criação do referido parque foi mediada por um conjunto de conceções tecnocientíficas e burocracias administrativas que se detêm apenas nos riscos e “recursos” e que bloqueiam a relação ontológica singularizante do caldeirense com o cosmos.

This project brings the international soft law instrument, the Voluntary Guidelines on Responsible Governance of the Tenure of Land, Fisheries, and Forests (Tenure Guidelines or TGs) to rural communities and, together with them, uses the Guidelines to strengthen their tenure of land, fisheries and forests. As well, it provides policy-relevant knowledge on how to promote legitimacy and accountability of public authorities involved in land grabs. The goal of the Toolkit is to help users to produce outputs which are politically relevant and useful.
