Modern technologies of information collection and processing appear the necessary means for the development of agricultural producing in the country. National soil information systems have been created in many countries all over the world. In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there has been created a program-information complex aimed on concentration and systematization of information concerned to utilization of soil resources in agricultural practice.

application on the productivity of crop rotation and agrochemical characteristics of sod-podzol sandy soil. The influence of byproducts ploughing and mineral fertilizer doses on the crop rotation productivity and agrochemical indicators of sod-podzol sandy loam soil is studied. It is established that autumn application of a compensatory dose of nitrogen to the straw did not ensure the increased productivity of crop rotation.

Nowadays evaluation of intake of nutritive substances, especially potassium from organic fertilizers, with atmospheric precipitation and analysis of their losses in environment appears very perspective direction of scientific research. Migration of potassium depends on several factors such as soil composition, climatic conditions, cultivars, quantity of applied mineral fertilizers etc.

Microbiological and enzymatic research has been conducted in the field experiment modeling different supply of Luvisol sandy loam soil with exchangeable magnesium (71, 84, 137, 172, 181 and 243 mg/kg) and even exchangeable acidity. It’s established that within the diapason of 70–170 Mg2+ content in soil and with NPK-fertilization it’s observed the increase of soil microbial biomass, metabolic activity of microbial communities, intensity of the main microbiological processes which regulate soil fertility – ammonification, carbonhydrates mineralization and plant residues humification.

Urban ecosystems are the areas where built infrastructure covers a large proportion of the land surface but the main source of ecosystem services provision is the green infrastructure. This provision is very much dependent on the particular combination of green spaces such as parks or vegetation belts and paved areas such as buildings and streets. The spatial arrangement of these elements is an important parameter which could be used for the assessment of the ecosystem condition in the urban areas.

The prospect of GIS technology to create and to use of soil maps is stated. Conducted a GIS analysis of soil cover the territory of Cherven District showed the predominance of retisols of large areas isomorphic and asymmetrical shapes, three times less than the average area for podzols with isomorphic form. The most complicated form of areas marked for alluvial soil types. Their coefficients of irregularity boundaries typically less than 0.2, and are fluvial forms of areas.

Post-technogenic ecosystems represent informative natural models of initial pedogenesis and restoration under the abandoned and reclamation practices. The purpose of this study conducted in one of the largest limestone quarries of Leningrad region was to examine successions of plant and microbial communities. Species composition and vegetation cover were estimated for different plant communities within each ecotype of quarry.

Permanent exploitation of agricultural machinery and equipment supposes excessive compression of soil cover by undercarriage, especially by wheels, which leads to crop yield decline, high energy consumption and decrease of productivity. The main goal of the research presented in the article appears determination of the dependencies between soil reluctance and compaction, reflecting peculiarities of the curve of depression of the deformation agent in soil. The research analyzes development of the core of compression during compression of stamping tool.

The studies were conducted in the Rostov region I 2009-2014. The object of research is black southern chernozems (zonal soils) and alkali fine soils, which make up integrated soil cover with more than 35% alkali. According to the scheme of the experiment, the effect of phosphogypsum (PG) applied in doses 5 and 10 t/ha on alkali and zonal soils properties at the background of deep tillage by application of accepted (overall application) and proposed (selective application) practices on soil complex has been studied.
