    In the framework of the National Proyect: "Tipification, Cartography and Evaluation of Spanish Pastures" (INIA 00T00-037-C17-08) and Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, 2001-2004), promoted by the Spanish Society of Pastures Studies, "dehesas" areas are obtained depending on the uses of different cartographic sources. A comparative analyze has been carried out in Toledo province (Spain). Data used were obtained from the Spanish Forestry Map, the CORINE-LAND COVER 2000 proyect and Cadastral information.

    The aim of this paper is to research the process of compulsory acquisition of land and its fixtures in the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline project in Albania from the perspective of the affected persons. The legislation of Albania as well as international principles concerning compulsory acquisition of property was analysed. Examined also was the process of how legal and institutional framework is applied in determining adequate compensation to landowners who are mostly small rural farmers.

    The most important area of the common agricultural policy of the European Union (EU) is the sustainable development of rural territories. This issue is the priority for EU countries due to a number of factors (migration of rural population, low incomes in rural areas, deterioration of quality of soils and waters, loss of biodiversity, etc.) that negatively affect the development of rural areas. The experience of the EU in implementing the policy supporting rural development was analyzed, as well as change of goals and priorities of this policy within different programme periods.

    Proceedings of international scientific - methodical conference “Baltic Surveying’17” are periodical edition of scientific articles, issued as online (ISSN 2243-6944) edition. The periodicity of proceedings is one volume per year. Conference was held on the 10 - 12 of May, 2017 at the Latvia University of Agriculture, Jelgava, it was organized by the Department of Land Management and Geodesy.     The Cadastral System in Spain is divided in two organizations: the first one is Register of Property and the other one - Real Estate Cadastre. Both of them are joined with the purpose to get better legal information security and make easier the registration of the information for citizens. At the same time they follow the instructions of the European Infrastructure for Cadastral parcels (INSPIRE). Each parcel has an identification code and every alteration in that parcels should be registered by the different Cadastral declarations models.

    The mountain farmers operate on whole of animals (flocks, herds, working herds) copying models coming surely from the beginning of domestication. The apprenticeship lengthwise of centuries was received as a heritage and they will to enrich through every generational change. Furthermore, in mountain difficulties the commerce do not rise a regulative capacity as on the plains or well communicated regions and therefore the efficiency way is nearly indispensable.

    The aim of article is assessment the impact of the affiliation of the country to the EU-15 or EU-12 on agricultural land productivity and its price. The tasks of article are evaluation of intensity in agriculture in the countries EU-15 and EU-12 and evaluation of differences in land productivity and its prices between EU-12 and EU-15 countries in years 2007−2013. The analysis showed that in the 2007−2013 period the EU-15 and EU-12 significantly differed in capital intensity.

    MESMIS methodology (Ridaura et al., 2002) has been tested to assess sustainability of two different commercial flocks within the breeding scheme of the Latxa sheep in the Basque Country. The evaluation is based on technical, economical, environmental and social indicators derived from a SWOT analysis of the system. The assessment has been made by the comparison of two commercial flocks managed under different environmental conditions by means of specific nutrition and reproduction practices.

    A survey that gathered information about farm structure, grazing system, feeding and reproductive management was conducted in 181 farms. Parda de Montaña is the main breed regarding cows (92.4%), heifers (95,3%) and calves (84,1%). Bulls belong to Parda de Montaña (65%) breed but also Limusine, Charolaise and Blonde d'Aquitaine. Farms had an average size of 53.6 cows. Feeding depends largely on grazing in different forage resources, from June to October in high mountain ranges, in spring and autumn in natural meadows and forage crops.
