La métropole comptera ainsi quatre représentants, en remplacement de celui de la communauté urbaine de Marseille-Provence-Métropole et des trois communautés d'agglomération i) du Pays d'Aix, ii) de Salon-Etang de Berre-Durance et iii) du Pays d'Aubagne.
