    After the restitution, fragmented land makes East European countries difficult to produce cereal crops for commercial purposes. This paper attempts to analyze the institutional approach of Bulgaria to consolidate rental land into viable farm size for mechanization. It indicated effective use of machinery leading to high yield of crops. In addition, the approach has advantages to enable youth to join farming without capitals to acquire land and to retain opportunities for pensioners to return to their home villages.

    It was not all smooth process to transfer of jurisdiction to Terasawayama Station from a part of Terasawayama national forest at 1968. This report supplement previous researches that based on historical documents owned Tera community by using documents of Shinshu University. It became clear that a community's movement against the transfer was caused by not only insecure about permanent use of forest resources but also tension concerning water right within the community.

    This paper was conducted to evaluate the residents' conservation awareness of a terrace slope forest by using amount of Willingness To Pay (WTP). This green space is an important landmark for this area, but it has a development possibility to become solar panels. The assessment of these green spaces are insufficient in previous research. Influences of different residential communities, and visibility and accessibility of green spaces are mainly discussed in the previous research.

    In this study, we investigated the lot owners' awareness of their own and neighborhood greeneries, and examined factors influencing their awareness including personal attributions and life histories as well as surrounding physical urban green environment. We also associated these awareness with potential of continuous maintenance of these greeneries. We selected suburban residential district with considerable greeneries in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, central Japan as case study area, and carried out questionnaire survey to the residents.

    This study is based on the Forest's Owners designated by the Matsudo City Green Regulations. It aims is develop the current Conservation Policy State on Privately Owned Forests and those forests open to the local residents, as well as to examine the achievements and tasks of public visit management and cooperation with citizen's organizations. In this survey we gave a questionnaire to the landowners, and conducted an interview with the personal from the local government offices.
