    The objectives of these Regulations are to provide standards for the quality of and information required for instruments to be lodged with the Registrar for registration for which forms have not been approved under section 121 of the Transfer of Land Act 1958; and to specify requirements for applications for approval of forms under section 121 of the Act. The prescribed forms are reported in Schedule 2 attached to the Regulations.

    This Regulation, consisting of three Parts and completed by three Schedules, implements the Queensland Heritage Act 1992. Section 3 prescribes details for report on proposed development by the State; Section 4 deals with prescribes, for section 83(3) of the Act, matters the Minister must consider in being satisfied that a local government has appropriate procedures in place for exercising a power under section 84 of the Act in relation to the local government;, the declaration of protected areas (sect. 5), recommendation of declaration of protected areas (sect. 6).

    These Regulations make provision for the registration of native title agreements as foreseen by the Native Title Act. Three kinds of agreements can be registered: Body Corporate Agreements (reg. 4); Area Agreements (reg. 5); and Alternative Procedure Agreements (reg. 6). Requirements relative to docements by the party and information relative to the parties and the agreement are specified in those regulations.
