    The aim of article is assessment the impact of the affiliation of the country to the EU-15 or EU-12 on agricultural land productivity and its price. The tasks of article are evaluation of intensity in agriculture in the countries EU-15 and EU-12 and evaluation of differences in land productivity and its prices between EU-12 and EU-15 countries in years 2007−2013. The analysis showed that in the 2007−2013 period the EU-15 and EU-12 significantly differed in capital intensity.

    Great share of rented land in total utilised area as well as a significant variability of land rent and market prices of land causes a need of research that would assess which factors influence the land rent as well as the price of land and how significant such factor are in each state. The average land rent is significantly lower in new EU member states than in the EU 15 members. There is a strong dependence of land rent on the intensity of production. Subsidies have moderate to medium influence.

    The expropriation value of agricultural land is determined by the income capitalization approach under Turkey's Expropriation Act. Accordingly, the value of land is determined by dividing net income by the capitalization rate. One of the major issues giving rise to misunderstanding in expropriation cases is the misuse of the capitalization rate. Currently, the overextending of expropriation cases contributes to investment latency and the escalation of expropriation costs.

    In this study, by using cellular analyze method according to ecological criteria, the determination of agricultural land suitability of Research and Practice Farm of Ankara University Agrucultural Faculty Farm and Haymana Research Farm of Central Research Institute for Field Crops lands, which are in Ankara province and Haymana district, was aimed. For this aim, by using Geographical Information Systems(GIS) techniques, the data layers such as some soil properties, topography and irrigation was examined for each land criterion to determine the weighted scale.

Our country, having the favorable climatic conditions for viticulture, has an important role among the viticulture farming countries of the World. The objective of this study is to determine potential growing areas of grape in Turkey by using Geographic Information Systems techniques based on topographic and climatic factors. It is important to efficiently use of our limited arable lands from the agricultural point of view.
