    These Regulations make minor corrections to the Community Right to Buy (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Regulation 2(2) substitutes the reference to the year “2015” in regulation 1(3)(d)(ii) of the 2015 Regulations with a reference to the year “2016”. Regulation 2(3) adds the words “to the ballotter” into regulation 20(2) of the 2015 Regulations. Regulation 2(4)(b) amends Schedule 11 to the 2015 Regulations to add an additional entry concerning the result into the form of return that must be notified by the ballotter as required by section 52(3) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003.

    This Order prescribes the fees to be taken in the Land Registry for the purposes of the Land Registration Act (Northern Ireland) 1970 and the manner in which those fees are to be paid. The principal changes in respect of the repealed 2010 Regulations concern: ad-valorem fees for leases, registration and application fees, and fees for an application for update of entries in an existing land certificate.

    This Order amends the Land Registration (Proper Office) Order 2010 in the definition of “conveyancer” in article 2(2) order to include those who are or who employ authorized persons, authorized or licensed under the provisions of the Legal Services Act 2007 to carry on certain reserved instrument activities relating to land registration. The definition also includes public officers carrying on those activities.

    This Act makes provision for land registration in Scotland, provides a new legislative basis for the Land Register and improves and modernizes the system of procedures for registration of land (advance notice of conveyancing, electronic conveyancing and electronic registration). It provides for applications for voluntary registration of titles in the Land Register and grants power to the Keeper of the Registers of Scotland, who manages and controls the Land Register, to register a title without an application.

    These Rules amend the Land Registration Rules 2003, which make detailed provision for land registration in England and Wales under powers contained in the Land Registration Act 2002. They amend the principal rules by: (a) substituting a new Schedule 1 (prescribed forms); (b) making amendments to certain rules consequential upon the new Schedule 1, (c) making provision for evidence in support of certain applications to be given in the form of a statement of truth, and (d) amending provisions relating to entries in the register in certain cases.

    These Regulations implement the land-use planning obligations in Directive 2012/18/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances. They specify the substances which are hazardous substances for the purposes of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 and the controlled quantities of those substances. They also lay down the procedure for applications for consent and the determination of applications.
