    The relations in the sphere of the rights to use pastures on the territory of the Kyrghyz Republic shall be regulated by this Law, the Forest, Water and Land Codes, laws on lease and lease relations, protection of the nature, flora and fauna, atmospheric air and other legislation of the Kyrghyz Republic. The subjects for the utilization of pastures shall be juridical and natural persons. The objects shall be certain areas of pastures. The pasture areas shall have locations and boundaries both on the map and on the ground.

    This National Action Plan developed in 2003 by the Republic of Tajikistan is a national-wide policy aiming at implementing the commitments of the Republic of Tajikistan concerning the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Thus, the document indicates the priorities and measures to be undertaken to address the problem of climate change, to develop a capacity for further research and analysis of the climate system, its variability and change, to strengthen the international cooperation and joined efforts to mitigate climate change.

    The main goal of this Strategy is to reduce preventable damage caused by natural and technological disasters, so as to improve the lives of the citizens and the welfare of the Republic of Tajikistan. The main Goal will be achieved by meeting the challenges stipulated under the five components of the Strategy. These Strategies are as follows: Component 1: Institutional Mandates and Legal Issues. The Goal is the establishment of a regulatory and legal framework for effective disaster risk management.

    The present Law defines the legal basis for organization and activity of Dehkan farms in the Republic of Tajikistan. The Dehkan farm is an independent managing subject carrying out its activities being not a legal person and based on individual business of a person, or members of the one family and other citizens jointly producing agricultural commodities on the basis of the plot of land and other properties being in its possession. The document consists of 34 Articles. Article 1 establishes the purpose of the present Law. Article 2 regards legislation on Dehkan farm.

    The present Law defines legal, economic and social conditions of investment activities on the territory of Turkmenistan. It aims at ensuring equal protection of rights, interests and assets of a subject of investment activities regardless of property forms. Investments mean all kinds of property and intellectual values invested into the objects of entrepreneurial activities resulting in generating profit or obtaining social benefit. Such values may be the rights of land and other natural resources use, and other property rights.

    This Act defines the concept of 'peasant farm' and regulates marginally its activities. It is not allowed for state, cooperative and other social organizations and institutions to interfere in economic activities of peasant's farms except in cases of violation of legislation by them. Article 5 defines types of peasant's farms. A peasant's farm is established on the strictly voluntary basis. Each citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic meeting the requirements of the Paragraph 2, Article 3, is entitled to establish a peasant farm.

    This Decree of the Assembly of People's Representatives of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic adopts he proposal of the Government on interim tax rates for land use and invites the Government to undertake a series of actions with respect to land-based tax. The Government shall draft the permanent basic rates of agricultural tax for use of agricultural lands and submit them for consideration to Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic before 1 November 1997.

    Local Land Committees are executive bodies of the Land Committee responsible for land matters in oblasts, cities, rayons, and jamoat. The composition f each of these types of committees is specified. The Chairman of oblast committees is appointed by the Chairman of the Land Committee and shall have the professional qualification of "land manager". The oblast committees shall be responsible for the implementation of the national land policy, and shall supervise rational use and protection of land, and promote improvement of all farms of farming.

    This Resolution approves the attached Regulations on land taxes as specified in Schedules 1, 2, and 3: Temporary basic rate of the unified agricultural tax (1); Rates valid for one occasion and annual tax for usage of the lands of settlements and non- agricultural lands (2); Tax rates for use of householding plots allocated to citizens from urban and rural areas (3).

    This Law defines the main provisions on mortgage. Property connected with land and classified by the legislation as immovable property can be object of mortgage in accordance with mortgage agreement. When edifices, buildings and structures are mortgaged, the right of usage of land plot, on which above‑said object are located, becomes the subject of mortgage simultaneously. In such cases the right of usage of land plot is transferred simultaneously to an acquirer (buyer) of edifice, building or structure when compensation from the subject of mortgage is claimed.
