    The Parties shall cooperate on environmental policy and management, town and country planning, reduction of environmental pollution, nature protection and cultural heritage, environmental monitoring and information systems, education and propaganda. A permanent Hungarian-Norwegian Workgroup is established for the implementation of this Agreement. The Agreement is in force for five years and shall be automatically extended for a further five years unless one of the Parties rescinds it three months before expiry.

    According to provisions of this Decree users of arable land shall be responsible to prepare a plan for the use of fertilizing substances for the upcoming planting season in each year or a plan for a longer term in the case of use of animal manure or extensive cultivation. Such plan shall contain various indications on the required use of fertilizers. The scope of this planning is to secure an effective and rational use of fertilizing substances also for reasons of environment protection.

    Purpose of the subsidy is to avoid and reduce tilling and other treatment of the soil of arable land in the autumn so as to enhance the growing of vegetation on it and subsequent reduction of effects of erosion. Section 2 lists the production methods that shall be eligible for financial aid in an amount to be established by the Department of Agriculture. Section lists criteria for granting of incentives. The land may not be ploughed before 1 March of each year. (10 sections)

The Act consists of 103 sections divided into 10 Chapters.The Act defines the environmental protection authorities for Svalbard. Protected areas may be established for the protection of habitats, ecosystems, the wilderness or area of natural or historical value.

    The purpose of this Regulation aims at conservation the quality of outdoor recreational areas without interfering their topography, the presence of swamps, lakes, streams, and hills. The area offers a large proportion of old forest without recent forest interventions. The area also consists of larger cultural heritage and a diverse wildlife. The outdoor recreational area covers a total area of ​​3 674 acres. The boundaries are shown in a map at a scale of 1:15 000. The exact boundaries of the area shall be marked in the forest.

    Bouvet Island, Peter I Island and Queen Maud Land (45 ° east - 20 ° west latitudes) is subject to Norwegian sovereignty as dependency land. Norwegian civil and penal laws together on the administration of justice apply to Bouvet Island, Peter I Island and Queen Maud Land. The King may issue regulations on environmental protection on Bouvet Island, Peter I's Island and Queen Maud Land (art. 2). Additional provisions of this Act shall be determined by HM the King, whereby HM may implement amendments when and where required.
