    This Act is composed of 35 articles divided into eight Chapters. It aims at establishing the terms under which the creation, exercise, modification, transfer and termination of the right of land use and benefit operates. It regulates ownership of the land and public domain, the right of use and benefit of land, powers and responsibilities of the concerned public bodies. In particular, it defines obligations to be fulfilled by foreign or national entities, as well as fees to be paid in order to obtain a licence for land exploitation.

    This Act regulates the right of use of public and private lands of the Overseas territories. It consists of 33 parts specifying the conditions to be satisfied, in order to exploit occupied and non-occupied land for different uses. It establishes the requirements to be met in order to benefit from a land concession, or to obtain a permit for land leasing.

    This Decree regulates Land Act No. 19/97 establishing right of use and conditions for exploiting public lands. It consists of 7 Chapters and 1 technical annex specifying different land uses, listing obligations and rights of foreign or national entities, fees to be paid in order to obtain a licence for land exploitation, etc. It concerns requirements to be met for obtaining the aforementioned licence and regulates plans for land exploitation to be sent for approval to the competent authority. Technical Annex specifies requirements to be satisfied and limits (servitudes) of land areas.

    This Ministerial Decision implements the Decree that regulates the right of use and conditions for exploiting public land by establishing the procedures for consultation with the local communities on the use and property rights of land. The local community's consultation includes two phases. The first is a public meeting in order to provide information to the local community on the application for acquisition of land use rights and the identification of the boundaries of the parcel. The second relates to the duration of the consultation.

    This Resolution, consisting of 6 articles and 1 Table, establishes Special Plan requirements for Land Planning within the Province of Tete. It specifies Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment of the Zambesi Valley and part of its Basin, in particular applies for the following districts: Guro, Tambara, Chemba, Caia, Marromeu, Morrumbala, Mopeia and Chinde. This Resolution also establishes patterns and conditions for natural resources and areas use with special and different characteristics.

    Looking at several large-scale land deals in Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia, this extraordinary documentary highlights the nuanced impacts of these investments. Small-scale farmers and producers, national government officials, and African policy-makers unpack the deals, showing that there are winners and losers when providing investors access to large tracts of land in Africa. For example, land deals impact differently on women and youth, and altering land regimes also impacts on access to other natural resources such as water, fish, and local indigenous vegetables.

    This Resolution authorizes the request for conversion of provisional authorization into definitive Right of Land Use and Exploitation (DUAT) for the silvo-forestry activities on behalf of the Company Niassa Forests Ltd, concerning an area of 34,227.15 hectares, located in the administrative post of Chimbonila, District of Lichinga, Niassa Province, documented in the cadastral case No. 11764/1250, as the map attached to this Resolution.
