    The present Law implements various articles of the Federal Land Consolidation Act in its consolidated version of 16 March 1976 (BGBl. I p. 546). In particular, the Law establishes the competent authorities responsible for the enforcement of the above-mentioned Federal Act.     The present Law provides for the implementation of the Federal Land Consolidation Act of 14 July 1953 (BGBl. I p. 591). In particular, article 1 of the above-mentioned Law establishes that the supreme and superior authorities for land consolidation in Schleswig-Holstein are, respectively, the Agriculture, Environment and Rural Space Office, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Space.

    The present Law introduces some substantial amendments to the Land Transaction Law 2001 (LGBl. 9/2002). In particular, the Law adds a chapter 2a to article 13 on Acquisition of building land. The afore-mentioned chapter consists of: Sphere of application, objectives (art. 13a); Building land (art. 13b); Legal transactions subject to registration (art. 13c); Terms of use (art. 13d). Furthermore, article 35 on Penalties is reworded and article 35a on References to federal Legislation is added.

    The present Ordinance enforces the Building Law of 12 June 1994. Article 1 establishes that the competent Department shall prepare the cantonal structural plan in cooperation with the cantonal offices. The Department shall ensure the participation of municipalities and shall consult federal authorities and neighbouring cantons. Other interested parties shall also be heard. The text consists of 41 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Planning proceedings (I); Building permit proceedings (II); Legal protection (IIII); Transitional and final provisions (IV).
