    This Act governs the leasing of farm land.The amount of rent from farm land shall not exceed 37.5 per cent of the total annual harvest of the principal product of its main crops. It shall be reduced to 37.5 per cent if the originally agreed rent is more than 37.5 per cent. It shall not be increased to 37.5 per cent if the originally agreed rent is less than 37.5 per cent.The Municipal or County (City) Government and the Village (Township,City, District) Office shall respectively set up the Farm Land Tenancy Committee.

    An Act to provide for the control of abandoned lands in Tasmania. The Minister may issue an abandoned land notice in respect of land which meets requirements set out in section 4. Where the Minister is satisfied that a person is entitled to any estate or interest in the land to which an abandoned land notice relates, he may exclude from the operation of the notice those rights or, by agreement with that person, some other rights in substitution therefore.

    This Order makes provisions for the control, management and disposal of property abandoned by persons who are not present in Bangladesh or who have ceased to occupy or supervise their property.All abandoned properties in Bangladesh shall vest in the Government and shall be administered, controlled, managed and disposed of, by transfer or otherwise, in accordance with the provisions of this Order.

    This Act amends the Absentee Landowners Levy Act 1976 in Paragraph (1)(a) of section 3. That provision defines, for the purposes of the princiapal Act, an absentee, in relation to a year of levy: (a) a person, not being a company, who: (i) has been absent from Norfolk Island for more than one-half of the year of levy; and defines businesses.

    This Act provides for the imposition of an annual levy on land owned by an absentee (as defined by this Act. The levy shall be charged on the unimproved value of the land, i.e. the capital sum that might be expected to be offered for the fee simple with vacant possession of the land at a bona fide sale on such reasonable terms and conditions as a bona fide seller would require, it being assumed that no improvements had been made on or to the parcel of land. The Act allows for objections to be lodged against assessment of value.

    This Act makes provision for the compulsory acquisition by the State of private land which results not to be beneficially occupied for a certain period of time so as to ensure rational use of such land. The Commissioner of Lands is empowered to enter upon lands to investigate whether parcel of land is beneficially occupied. The Minister may issue a notice to the owner of a land if he holds that such land is not beneficially occupied. The notice specifies a time limit and the manner in which that land shall be beneficially occupied.
