This Order confers powers and duties of the Minister for Agriculture and Food, other than powers to prosecute an offence, to the Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food insofar as they relate to Acts and Instruments specified in Part 1 or 2 of the Schedule to this Order.
This Order delegates to the Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the powers and duties of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development under the Acts, Orders and Regulations specified in the Order. The Acts are the Land Bond Act, 1992 (No. 4 of 1992) and Western Development Commission Act, 1998 (No. 42 of 1998).
This Order provides for the delegation of powers (other than the power to prosecute an offence) and duties of Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Gaeltacht conferred on him or her by or under various Acts and Regulations listed in the Schedule to this Order to the Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Community and Gaeltacht. Legislation includes (parts of) the Planning and Development Act 2000 and the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 to 2012.
These Rules amend the Circuit Court Rules in relation with proceedings for specified relief and other proceedings under the Land and Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2009.

These Rules amend the District Court Rules, 1997 by allowing a practising solicitor sign an affidavit for use in a District Court. Where a claim in civil proceedings is by a Minister of a Government Department, the Land Commission, the Commissioners of Public Works or such other bodies or persons who are by statute so entitled, it may be verified and the sum then actually due may be proved by any certificate under seal which is by statute made evidence of the matters therein certified instead of by affidavit as provided for by the principal Order.
These Rules prescribe the practice and procedures to be followed and the forms to be used in the District Court proceedings. Various actions of the Court or before the court are prescribed by the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 and concern protection of the environment and control of pollution. There are also actions in relation with ejectment proceedings, entry upon land and other matters relating to the (infringement) of rights relating to land.
This Order provides that sections 69 to 83 of the Lands Clauses Consolidation Act 1845 shall, in accordance with subsection (4) of section 28 of the Energy (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 and without further modification, apply in all cases for the purposes of compulsory acquisition under the 2006 Act.
