Ce manuel s’adresse à celles et ceux qui tentent de relever ce défi dans les pays en développement. Il n’existe pas d’approche unique pour réformer les pratiques de tenure forestière afin de parvenir à l’égalité femmes-hommes et à l’autonomisation des femmes.

Sustainable land governance requires that all members of a community, both women and men, have equal rights and say in decisions that affect their collectively-held lands. O presente trabalho pretende refletir sobre territórios e especificidades de mulheres indígenas na Amazônia brasileira, mais especificamente do Estado do Acre, com suas lutas encampadas pela defesa dos territórios ancestrais, bem como o estabelecimento de relações com o movimento indígena. Assim, o caminho metodológico terá como partida a experiência de vida e de luta de lideranças femininas, as quais inserem preocupações quanto aos seus direitos, seus posicionamentos e reflexões que provocam transformações em suas realidades sociais e culturais.

This is a brief description of a course organized by the Regional Government of San Martín in Peru and ProTierras Comunales and implemented in coordination with the regional and local indigenous organisations in 2018. ProTierras Comunales is part of the Global Project “Responsible Land Policy”, implemented since late 2015 by German development cooperation in six countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America to promote the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests (VGGT, 2012).

PRIMER INFORME Sombra de Mujeres de los Pueblos y Nacionalidades del Ecuador al Comité sobre la Eliminación de la Discriminación contra las mujeres- CEDAW Somos mujeres de la selva, de los páramos y de las orillas del mar de la tierra del sol recto. Hemos luchado por nuestro autoreconocimiento como pueblos y nacionalidades, así como por nuestra autodeterminación y autonomía territorial a través de la Confederación de Nacionalidades Indígenas del Ecuador. Nos articulamos en 18 pueblos y 14 nacionalidades. Somos 2.9 millones de mujeres viviendo en el campo ecuatoriano.
