The Contracting Parties shall cooperate in the following fields: (a) joint programmes in the sphere of cadastre, land resources, geodesy and cartography; (b) exchange of information; (c) exchange of maps; (d) exchange on experience related to land use planning, land survey and land cadastre; (e) joint symposia and conferences; (f) consulting (art. 2).

The authorized state institution responsible for the implementation of the present Agreement shall be the State Committee on Immovable Property of Belarus and the State Committee on Cadastre of Immovable Property of Armenia. The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following areas: (a) exchange of scientific and technical information regarding geodesy and cartography; (b) joint scientific research; (c) exchange of data on distant zoning of the earth; (c) GPS survey; and (d) exchange of geodetic, cartographic and GPS survey materials.

The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following fields: (a) carrying out geodetic, mapping and cartographic activity; (b) exchange of information regarding distant zoning of the Earth; (c) exchange of experience between mapping, geodetic and cartographic organizations and educational institutions; (d) joint research. For the purpose of carrying out the aforesaid activities the Parties shall set up working groups of experts.

The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following areas: (a) topography, geodesy and cartography; (b) exchange of scientific and technical information and cartographic publications; (c) training of specialists; and (d) exchange of information regarding modifications of administrative borders.

The President, with a view of improvement of regulation of land relations and carrying out state control over land management and protection, decrees to set up land survey services within local executive bodies entrusted with the following functions: (a) state control over land management and protection, execution and quality control of land survey and land cadastre work; (b) expropriation and allotment of the plots of land; (c) enforcement of land legislation; (d) submittal to tax inspection of data related to land ownership by natural and legal persons; and (e) exposure of abandoned land.

This Code regulates the relationship originating in connection with geological survey, the use and the protection of subsoil in the Republic of Belarus. This Code contains legal foundation of the all-round rational use and protection of subsoil, provides for safeguard of the interests of state and citizens of the Republic of Belarus as well as the rights of the users of subsoil. The document consists of XI Sections that contain 60 articles. Section I lays down the general provisions. Section II regards state regulation in the field of use and protection of subsoil.

The state supervision over land use and land protection shall have as its purpose to ensure the observance of land legislation by landowners and land tenants with a view of more efficient land use and land protection. The state supervision shall be carried out by the local self-government and land use planning organizations.
