The open-ended intergovernmental working group on a United Nations declaration on the rights of peasants and other people working in rural areas, established by Human Rights Council resolution 21/19, has a mandate to negotiate, finalize and submit to the Council a draft declaration on the rights of peasants and other people working in rural areas.
