The present Act introduces some amendments to the Land Transaction Act (LGBl. No. 61/1993). The amendments concern articles 1, 3, 7 and 11 on Acquisition of land by foreigners, as well as article 24 dealing with the succession by death in land property.

The present Law introduces some amendments to the Carinthia Wood and Pasture Exploitation Law (LGBl. No. 15/22003). Implements: Property Valuation Act. (2016)
The present Act lays down provisions relating to the taxation of land in Austria. Article 1 establishes that domestic real property is subject to property tax. Domestic real property is, inter alia, agricultural and forestry land and agricultural and forestry enterprises. Article 2 lists cases for which no land tax has to be paid. The text consists of 33 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Tax obligation (I); Calculation of land tax (II); Payment of land tax (III); Final and transitional provisions (IV).
Implements: Property Valuation Act. (2016)
The present Act introduces some amendments to the Spatial Information Infrastructure Act (BGBl. No I 14/2010). In particular, the Act amends article3 replacing the expression “European Community” by “European Union”. Furthermore, article 4 concerning minimum requirements for the creation and maintenance of metadata is amended.
Amends: Spatial Information Infrastrucutre Act. (2010-03-01)
The purpose of the present Act is the economic and expedient use of the soil; the protection and care of the environment and, in particular the conservation or reinstatement of the sustainable purity of the air, water and soil, as well as the avoidance of noise; the conservation or reinstatement of a healthy nature, the protection of the indigenous fauna and flora and their natural living spaces, of the cultural heritage and, finally, in particular that of housing and recreational areas.
The present Act lays down provisions relating to land consolidations. Article 1 establishes that to improve production and working conditions in agriculture and forestry, as well as to improve general land use planning and land development, owned land may be consolidated.
The present Ordinance implements the Directive 2009/28/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources of 23 April 2009. In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to building technology and building equipment, as well as to special environmental, health and energy requirements of buildings. Furthermore, the Law also applies to parcel of lands and other constructions and facilities subject to requirements of the present Law.
The present Law implements the Directive 98/34/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down a procedure for the provision of information in the field of technical standards and regulations of 22 June 1998. In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to building technology and building equipment, as well as to special environmental, health and energy requirements of buildings. Furthermore, the Law also applies to parcel of lands and other constructions and facilities subject to requirements of the present Law.
