During the implementation of land reform in independent Ukraine land system changed twice. Today, due to the decentralization of power is his search for a new model for the future, as outlined in this study. Also note that when we formulated the concept refers to the land system - land system, ie a set of measures for the territorial organization of land and other natural resources, land relations, defined system of ownership and use of land, as well as the principles of the territory.

Peer-reviewed publicationMarch, 2021China, Russia, United States of AmericaThe structural index is an important quantitative parameter for revealing the structural properties of loess. However, there is no a widely accepted measurement method for structural index at present. This study aims at presenting a novel method for obtaining the loess structural index (LSI), based on the application of computed tomography (CT) scanning techniques and laboratory physico-mechanical tests. The mountainous area of Lvliang in northwest China was taken as the study area, and Late Pleistocene loess samples were taken from various sites in the region.

There is a trend to acquire high accuracy land-cover maps using multi-source classification methods, most of which are based on data fusion, especially pixel- or feature-level fusions. A probabilistic graphical model (PGM) approach is proposed in this research for 30 m resolution land-cover mapping with multi-temporal Landsat and MODerate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) data. Independent classifiers were applied to two single-date Landsat 8 scenes and the MODIS time-series data, respectively, for probability estimation. A PGM was created for each pixel in Landsat 8 data.

Peer-reviewed publicationJanuary, 2021Norway, Poland, United States of America, EuropeIn many countries of the world, rural areas are characterized by a defective spatial structure of agricultural land. The most frequent defects are large fragmentation and distribution of farmland. The fragmentation of land has been an issue widely described by many authors throughout the world. The problem of the distribution of land owned by individual farmers is slightly different, since due to the complexity of the problem this issue was not widely explored in Poland (plot patchwork) or in other countries of Europe and the world.

Egyes rossz adottságú gazdaságok földjeiket átállítják ökológiai státuszra, a támogatás végett.

After the restitution, fragmented land makes East European countries difficult to produce cereal crops for commercial purposes. This paper attempts to analyze the institutional approach of Bulgaria to consolidate rental land into viable farm size for mechanization. It indicated effective use of machinery leading to high yield of crops. In addition, the approach has advantages to enable youth to join farming without capitals to acquire land and to retain opportunities for pensioners to return to their home villages.

The social and solidarity economy (SSE) is an emerging sector of the European economies. It’s importance is demonstrated by millions of employees and significant share of GDP. In recognition of its perceptivity, ministries dedicated to SSE have been established in many countries. However, there is a lively debate about on the definition of SSE itself. Opinions on the role of employment, the relations to governments and attitudes to competitiveness differ from each other. In the first part of my paper a clarification of the conceptual issues will be summarized.

Peer-reviewed publicationOctober, 2020British Indian Ocean Territory, Central African Republic, Central America, South America, Northern America, United States of America, China, India, Europe, Russia, Australia, GlobalAlthough the way in which vegetation phenology mediates the feedback of vegetation to climate systems is now well understood, the magnitude of these changes is still unknown. A thorough understanding of how the recent shift in phenology may impact on, for example, land surface temperature (LST) is important. To address this knowledge gap, it is important to quantify these impacts and identify patterns from the global to the regional scale.
