The aim of this Law is to regulate land registration in Dubai. This Law is composed of 11 Chapters divided into 29 articles. Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Chapter 2 specifies the scope of application and rights of ownership. Chapter 3 contains general provisions. Chapter 4 provides for the jurisdiction of the Department of Lands and Properties. Chapter 5 and 6 pertain to land register, registration and recording. Chapter 7 provides for alterations or corrections of records in land's register. Chapter 8 refers to maps. Chapter 9 addresses dividing and merging.

This Legislative Decree aims at the regulatins of unregistered land sale contracts. The present Decree is composed of 10 articles. Article 1 deals with the scope of the Decree. Articles 2-5 provide for the establishment of the Dispute Settlement Committee and lay down its competencies and duties. Articles 6-8 refer to the role of the Court. Article 9 abrogates articles 2 and 3 of Law No. 1 on Cadastre.

This Regulation consists of 7 Sections divided into 23 articles. Section I establishes the Cadastre and Documentation Department of the Ministry of Justice and defines its duties. Section II deals with land ownership rights. Section III pertains to booking and registration. Section IV and V define the registration measures. Section VI defines steps and measures for the authentication of signatures, as well as fixes registration fees. Section VII contains temporary provisions.

This Resolution is composed of 5 articles. Article 1 establishes the Cadastre Committee with the competence to study the examination result carried out by the Cadastre and Documentation Department and to take the final decision related to the approval or refuse of the land registration. Article 2 deals with the management and internal organization of the Committee. The seat of the Committee shall be established at the Cadastre Department (art. 3). Article 4 decrees the issuance of a regulation for the Committee.

This Resolution is composed of 3 Sections divided into 28 articles. Section I deals with the management; and competencies and duties of the Director of the Cadastre and Documentation Department. This Resolution is composed of 3 articles. The Order issued on 15/11/1971 related to the expropriation of the land No. 299 of 3200 square metres located in the zone of Almasiya-Gaza Strip in favour of the Governor General is now abrogated and will be restored to the original owners (art. 1). Original owners of the aforementioned land before the expropriation have the total right of disposal over it according to laws in forced (art. 2).
