    La presente Ley modifica la que autoriza al Banco de Desarrollo Agropecuario a condonar deuda a organizaciones campesinas, respecto a los derechos posesorios o mejoras y los bienes muebles o inmuebles de propiedad de las organizaciones campesinas, así como las tierras estatales sobre las cuales se desarrollaron las actividades de las organizaciones campesinas que, al entrar a regir la Ley Nº 43 de 1999, se encontraban inactivas y con saldos morosos con el Banco de Desarrollo Agropecuario, serán traspasados al patrimonio de dicho Banco.

    The present Act makes provisions for the settlement of differences between the governments of the Dominion of Canada and the Province of British Columbia respecting Indian Lands and certain other Indian Affairs in the afore-mentioned Province. In particular, section 2 grants powers to the Governor in Council to settle such differences with respect to Indian matters. The text consists of 3 sections.

    The present Regulations are made under the First Nations Fiscal Management Act. For the purpose of the Regulation “assessable property” means reserve land, an interest in reserve lands or a right to occupy, possess or use reserve lands, that is subject to assessment under a property assessment law. Section 4 establishes that any person may appeal an assessment or a reconsideration of an assessment of the assessable property to an assessment review board established by the Council of the First Nation. Appel procedures are set out in sections 3 to 13. The text consists of 14 sections.

    This Act, among other things, recognizes the Minerals Management Board as established by section 214 of the Constitution and provides rules relative to exploration and exploitation of minerals in Swaziland. The Act defines functions and powers of the Board, establishes an office of the Commissioner of Mines and defines functions of the Commissioner of Mines. A distinction is made between small-scale and large-scale operations for the purposes of this Act.

    The present Regulations are made under section 19 of the Northwest Territories Lands Act. Section 2 establishes that the areas of the Northwest Territories that are under the administration of the Commissioner and that are not part of the Mackenzie Valley unless otherwise provided for in the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act (Canada), are set apart and appropriated as a land management zone, and these regulations apply in that zone.
