    These Regulations implement provisions of the Barbuda land Act 2007 by: outlining procedures for the grant of exclusive right of occupation by a person qualified under section 7 of the Act; prescribing conditions for the grant of a lease for major development of land or for the extension of such lease; outlining procedures for the application for a licence to cut timber or a licence to burn coal.

    This Act provides with respect to the application for and the granting of loans for an agricultural purpose, or for a purpose declared under section 39 to be an approved purpose, the security necessary for the support of such loans and relative proof of title of rights in land.

    The Act amends the Aliens Landholding Regulation Act by inserting a new section 5A on obligations of aliens who acquire land under section 5. On acquiring land, under section 5 for an approved development the alien shall - (a) make an application for development permission under the Physical Planning Act, 2002 within six months of acquiring the land; and (b) commence construction of the approved development within one year of receipt of development permission under the Physical Planning Act, 2002.

    This Act makes provision for a national water policy and for the establishment of the Water and Sewerage Authority and concerns several aspects of water resources management and policy. The Government shall promote a national policy for water and sewerage in Grenada. The Authority is established as a body corporate and shall be a successor to the Central Water Commission. Assets and liabilities of Central Water Commission shall be transferred to the Authority.

    This Act amends the Registration (Strata Titles) Act. It, among other things, establishes the Commission of Strata Corporations and the Strata Appeals Tribunal and in provisions covering a wide variety of matters including the Strata Corporations Register, audit and proceedings of the Tribunal. The functions of the Commission shall be to: a) monitor, regulate and supervise strata corporations; (b) keep or cause to be kept a register of such corporations; (c) facilitate the resolution of disputes. The Act defines the jurisdiction of the Strata Appeals Tribunal.

    This Act makes provision for the acquisition and disposal of lands by the Crown, for the vesting of land in the Crown and the lease of land by the Crown.All land and public works formerly vested in the Governor-in-Executive Committee shall, pursuant to this Act, vest in the Crown. The Minister may purchase, lease, take, accept or otherwise acquire land for use by the Crown in accordance with provisions of this Act. The Minister may also grant leases, licences of use, easements, etc. on such lands. The Minister may make rules regarding use of such lands.

    These Regulations amend the Registration (Strata Titles) Regulations in relation with application to the Commission of Strata Corporations by a corporation for first registration pursuant to section 4(4) of the Act and renewal of registration, and (application for) waiver or reduction of the prescribed fees pursuant to section 4A of the Act. They amend the First Schedule by adding various forms and insert a Second Schedule.

A Development Control Authority is established as a body corporate under section 5.
