Call for Session Proposals: LANDac Annual International Conference 2019! | Land Portal | Securing Land Rights Through Open Data

We are very pleased to invite proposals for sessions for the LANDac Annual International Conference 2019. Practitioners, researchers, policymakers, all are welcome to organise a session at this year’s conference. We welcome workshops, panels, roundtables, debates, talk shows and other innovative formats. Films and exhibitions are also very welcome, as well as posters about your organisation or project.

This year, the conference is about Land Governance in Transition: How to support transformations that work for people and nature? Central questions revolve around the long-term dynamics around land, water and food production. We also ask ourselves how land governance itself has transformed, as it seeks to respond to changing circumstances. And how is learning and knowledge building about these dynamics developing, what are promising concepts and tools?

From food security to urban land markets, and from land administration to climate displacement – this year we are opening up to a wide array of topics to allow a discussion on the broad dynamics shaping land governance. We look back and we look ahead!

More information about the Conference theme and submission details can be found in the Call for Sessions – LANDac Annual International Conference 2019Please submit your session proposal before February 15, 2019 via

We are in touch with several great speakers to perform the Conference key notes and will update the website as soon as new names are confirmed.

We look forward seeing you in Utrecht this summer!
