La Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación y la Agricultura – FAO presenta el siguiente decálogo con el propósito de facilitar a los periodistas y medios de comunicación una mayor comprensión sobre los temas de gobernanza responsable y tenencia de la tierra, la pesca y los bosques en Colombia. Siendo aliados estratégicos, los medios de comunicación cumplen funciones sociales como las de informar, formar y entretener. De esta manera, su papel es clave en la divulgación, promoción y posicionamiento de mensajes y herramientas, entre muchos otros, sobre derechos de tenencia, acceso equitativo a la tierra y el derecho humano a la alimentación.
