Mission: Nkuzi works towards the empowerment of disadvantaged men and women to have access to sufficient land secure tenure security, food security, provision of basic services and integrated local economic development. This is done through the provision of legal services, training and capacity building, research, advocacy and lobbying to effective policy change.

What is NKV?

The Nordic Board for Wildlife Research (NKV) was established in 1971 after recommendation from the Nordic Council of Ministers in 1968.

The purpose of NKV is to promote wildlife research within the Nordic region, with particular emphasis on the continuous improvement of research quality and quantity, and the dissemination of knowledge both within the scientific and general communities.

The organization implements the North Atlantic Treaty that was signed on 4 April 1949. NATO constitutes a system of collective defence whereby its independent member states agree to mutual defence in response to an attack by any external party.

The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) is a directorate under the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).


Norad's strategy towards 2010 states that Norad:


  • aims to be the centre of expertise for evaluation, quality assurance and dissemination of the results of Norwegian development cooperation, jointly with partners in Norway, developing countries and the international community

Norwegian Church Aid (Norwegian Kirkens Nødhjelp) is a Norwegian humanitarian and ecumenical organisation with headquarters in Oslo. It was traditionally affiliated with the state Church of Norway, but is now independent. Norwegian Church Aid works together with people and organisations across the world to eradicate poverty and injustice. NCA provides emergency assistance in disasters and works for long-term development in local communities. In order to address the root causes of poverty, NCA advocates for just decisions by public authorities, business and religious leaders.
