1. Right to sustainable livelihood resources
Everybody must be sure of a fair income and enough to eat. Yet this is not the case for 20% of the world’s population. That is why we are working on better access to land and water, and on fair working and trading conditions.
We are a pension fund service provider and manage the pensions for different pension funds, the affiliated employers and their employees. On 31 December 2019, we managed pension assets worth EUR 252 billion.
We have set ourselves three important challenges: to devise a new sustainable pension contract, to communicate openly and honestly with our clients’ participants, and to ensure our costs are transparent.
Mission statement
The African Studies Centre Leiden is a knowledge institute that undertakes research and is involved in teaching about Africa and aims to promote a better understanding of and insight into historical, current and future developments in Africa.
