Estão abertas as inscrições para o Prêmio Global de Manuscritos de Não-Ficção para Mulheres Negras 2024. Como parte da sua missão como editora negra global que liga a África e a diáspora africana, a Cassava Republic Press's tem o orgulho de anunciar o lançamento do seu primeiro Prémio Global de Manuscritos de Não-Ficção para Mulheres Negras, no valor de 20.000 dólares, dedicado a trabalhos excepcionais de mulheres negras.

Por mais de duas décadas, a Conferência sobre Terras do Banco Mundial tem sido um fórum importante e necessário para o setor fundiário, reunindo participantes de governos, parceiros(as) de desenvolvimento, sociedade civil, academia e setor privado para apresentar pesquisas, discutir questões e boas práticas e informar o diálogo sobre políticas. A Conferência incentiva a troca de conhecimentos intersetoriais e, neste ano, a equipe do Land Portal está ansiosa para participar da renovada Conferência da Terra, de 13 a 17 de maio de 2024, em Washington, DC.

Set up in 1990, ORF seeks to lead and aid policy thinking towards building a strong and prosperous India in a fair and equitable world. It helps discover and inform India’s choices, and carries Indian voices and ideas to forums shaping global debates. ORF provides non-partisan, independent analyses and inputs on matters of security, strategy, economy, development, energy, resources and global governance to diverse decision-makers (governments, business communities, academia, civil society).

Princeton University

hartered in 1746 as the College of New Jersey — the name by which it was known for 150 years — Princeton University was British North America’s fourth college. Located in Elizabeth for one year and in Newark for nine, the College of New Jersey moved to Princeton in 1756. It was housed in Nassau Hall, which was newly built on land donated by Nathaniel FitzRandolph. In 1896, when expanded program offerings brought the College university status, the College of New Jersey was officially renamed Princeton University. The Graduate School was established in 1900.

IUFRO is "the" global network for forest science cooperation. It unites more than 15,000 scientists in almost 700 Member Organizations in over 110 countries, and is a member of ICSU. Scientists cooperate in IUFRO on a voluntary basis.

Our mission is to advance research excellence and knowledge sharing, and to foster the development of science-based solutions to forest-related challenges for the benefit of forests and people worldwide.

Indigenous peoples across the world experience the consequences of historical colonization and invasion of their territories, and face discrimination because of their distinct cultures, identities and ways of life. In recent decades, the international community has given special attention to the human rights situations of indigenous peoples, as shown by the adoption of international standards and guidelines, as well as by the establishment of institutions and bodies that specifically target these peoples’ concerns.

Forests (ISSN 1999-4907) is an international and cross-disciplinary scholarly journal of forestry and forest ecology. It publishes research papers, short communications and review papers. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical research in as much detail as possible. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided for research articles.

Main tasks


IAMO is an agro-economic institute with an international focus and is engaged in fundamental and application-oriented research. Its research fields comprise analyses of agricultural policy framework conditions and arrangement options, markets in the agricultural and food sector as well as development of enterprises and structures in rural areas. Farm management and agricultural policy decisions as well as market processes make impacts on man-environment relationships in rural areas.

Scientific exchange

Guru Arjan Dev (GAD) Institute of Development Studies is a centre for advanced research and training in multi disciplinary areas as diverse as Agriculture and rural development; social change and social structure; environment and resource economics; globalization and trade, industry, labour and welfare; macro economics issues and models; population and development and health policy research.
