“Tenure and its governance are crucial factors in the fight against inequality and discrimination, for sustainable use of the environment, social stability and resilience toward the overall achievement of the SDGs.” FAO, Why Land Rights Matter, 2020
The purpose of this report was to evaluate the gender inequality that currently exists in land ownership in Zambia. We initiate, design and operate ESG Data Intermediation Services …
… WITH THREE OWN PURPOSE-DRIVEN INITIATIVES IN 2022:
“Food Hinterland System” and its nucleus of the distributed Digital Product Passport (dDPP) for food value chains
“Fair Work” and its enforcement policy innovation
Ontochain’s Babelfish project implementation
Our concepts and services are synergetic with the swelling data-driven ESG policy stream and reflect existing, grown but sometimes transforming multi-level governance constellations.
Meridia was founded in 2015 (then called Landmapp) with the intent to provide affordable land documentation to the people who need it the most, families living off land in places like Ghana and Indonesia. These families are smallholder farmers, the very ones producing the worlds food, such as rice, coffee, cocoa, palm oil and team.
This platform is a framework for the meeting, networking, information, exchanging experiences, and developing the potential of young people for land governance that promotes development in Africa.
We value the potential of young people for land governance; create the synergy of action between youth associations to become an international Youth network for the promotion and protection of the rights of young people and women; help young people identify and benefit from opportunities relating to state projects and support training and research for young people in the land sector.
Established in 1997, Zambia Land Alliance (ZLA) is a network of Non-Governmental Organizations promoting fair land policies, laws and land administration which takes into account the needs of the poor.
