These Rules are made under the Succession, Probate and Administration Act and set out the form of an administrative bond for purposes of the Act.

This Act provides rules relative to succession in case of death. The Act makes provision, among other things, for: court jurisdiction and powers; probate and administration of estates; Distribution of real and personal estate of intestate; and caveats.
This Act provides for various aspects relative to dealings in land in Rotuma and provides for the appointment of the Rotuma Lands Commission. The Commission shall ascertain (traditional) land rights, resolve disputes relative to land rights, demarcate land and register land rights (sect. 4).
This Decree amends the Succession, Probate and Administration Act in section 49 which concerns maximum deposits in any bank that may be paid to widow or next of kin without probate or administration.
