This Protocol has been adopted by the Contracting Parties to implement the Alpine Convention as regards soil conservation.
The Convention shall cover the Alpine region, as described in the Annex. The Contracting Parties shall take appropriate measures among others on population and culture, regional planning, prevention of air pollution, soil conservation and water management.
In implementation of the Alpine Convention of 1991, the Signatory Parties have concluded this Protocol to promote their cooperation in matter of territorial planning and sustainable development.
This Protocol has been adopted in implementation of the Alpine Convention as regards soil protection.
