The purpose of the present Law is to complete and implement the Federal Soil Protection Act of 17 March 1978 (BGBl. I p. 502) to create the legal basis to protect the soil in the Land of Rheinland-Pfalz.
This Act provides for the reform of legislation regarding a Scottisch form of land tenure called crofting and for this purpose amends provisions of the Crofting (Scotland) Act 1993.
The present Law implements the Federal Land Parcel Act of 2 August 1961 (BGBl. I, pp. 1091-1103) and Land Lease Act of 8 November 1985 (BGBl. I p. 2075). In particular, the Law lays down provisions dealing with registration, proceedings and authorization of land transactions.
The present Act introduces some Amendments to the following Acts: the Foodstuff and Feedstuff Codex of 1 September 2005 (BGBl. I p, 2618); Act on a Federal Institute for Agriculture and Food of 2 August 1994 (BGBl. I p. 2018); Land Lease Act of 8 November 1985 (BGBl. I p.
This Act amends the Land Compensation Act of 2002 so as to restore the priority given to certain claims in relation with infrastructural improvements (i.e. the acquisition of private lands for rights of way purposes and road construction).
This Act amends the Unit Titles Act by deleting the Schedule thereto and substituting the Schedule attached to this Act. The Schedule specifies Islands to which this Act applies.
