These Regulations, made by the Yap State Environmental Protection Agency under the Yap State Environmental Quality Protection Act, shall apply to all earthmoving activities as defined in these Regulations. They provides for measures to prevent erosion caused by earth moving and sedimentation.
These Regulations declare that all coastal land described in the Schedule is to constitute part of the coast for the purposes of the Coast Protection Act 1972.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the purposeful land use, the modalities of the modification thereof and the decision-making in this regard. The main purposeful land use shall be established in accordance with the territorial land use planning documentation and the local self-government shall make the decision on validation or modification of the main purposeful land use.
Item 4.1 shall acquire a new wording: «By decision of the head of local administration in case of expropriation of land area not exceeding 5 hectares in the cities and not exceeding 25 hectares in rural areas. »
