This Resolution of the Council of Ministers establishes the Urbanisation Planning of 'Tróia' area. It concerns the Regulation (divided into 5 chapters and 2 annexes) of land use planning within the aforementioned area, in order to protect natural resources; to valorise natural and cultural heritage; to exploit touristic sector in view of a rational development, etc.

This Regional Decree establishes the territorial management regime. It consists of 20 articles specifying that the enforcement of the regional policy on agricultural and urban land planning is under the competence of the Regional Government with a view to local development. Land expropriation requirements are established in the text.

These Regulations amend the Land Registration (Conduct of Business) Regulations 2000 by substituting a new table specifying the provisions in the Land Registration Rules 1925 which authorize or require acts to be done by the Registrar and which acts may, by virtue of the principal Regulations, be done by the Solicitor to H.M. Land Registry or an Acting Solicitor to H.M.

Section 18 of the Agriculture Act 1986 gives the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food power to designate areas in England as environmentally sensitive areas where it appears to him particularly desirable to conserve, protect or enhance environmental features in those areas by the maintenance or adoption of particular agricultural methods.

These provisions aim at implementing the Land Registration Act, particularly as regards the application for the registration of land or the issue of a certificate of title and application for registration of acquistion by prescription. Article 13 concerns appeals against the decisions of the Registrar; article 14 concerns claims for indemnity.
