El presente Acuerdo emite el Reglamento de la Ley de Reforma Agraria, que establece el procedimiento de afectación de las propiedades o tierras rústicas y su adjudicación al Estado, el procedimiento de indemnización, y el procedimiento de asignación con el objeto de hacer llegar a la población nicaragüense en una forma más eficiente los beneficios de una Reforma Agraria Integral.

This Order empowers the Central Rural Development Board to report on the condition of natural resources, i.e. water, soil, grass and timber, on land held by the State and to recommend to the Ngwenyama the steps to be taken for the protection of these resources and for the improvement of grazing control methods.

The present Decree lays down provisions relating to the protection of natural resources and landscape. Article 1 establishes that unmoveable property which contributes to enhance the beauty of the countryside is also subject to protection and cannot be altered or destroyed without the agreement of the competent authority. The President of the Supreme Soviet decrees to put into effect Land Code from 1 December 1990 while the Articles 37-40 shall be put into effect from 1 January 1991.
