Amendments of the principal Act are made by this Act in relation to: definitions (sect. 1 of the principal Act), the Land Leases Register (sects. 2,4), registered leases and freehold titles in estates in the framework of the coming into force of the Freehold Titles Act No. 13 of 1994 (sects. 8, 13, 14, 15, 22, 30, 51, 52, 54, 56, 57, 59, 60, 66, 67, 69, 71, 72, 76, 91 and 107).

This Act makes minor amendments to various provisions of the Land Valuation and Tax Act 1967, including provisions regarding proceedings of the Land Valuation Appeal Tribunal.

This Order amends Part 1 of Schedule 8 to the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 as it applies to England. Section 64 of the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 entitles the tenant of an agricultural holding, on termination of the tenancy and quitting of the holding, to compensation from the landlord for an improvement specified in Part 1 of Schedule 8 which the tenant has carried out on the holding.
