This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of Nghe An province.The plan aims at developing Nghe An province into an industrial, tourist, commercial, cultural, educational and scientific-technological centre of the northern central region.This plan shall include: the development of agriculture, forestry and fishery product and food processing industry; the exploitation and processing of minerals of high economic value; the development of husbandry; environmental and natural disaster prevention, fighting and reduction; the development of water supply infrastructures and irrigation systems; the building of wastewater treatment stations; and the management and use of land.
