The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

The purpose of this Act is to establish the Specific Claims Tribunal, the mandate of which is to decide issues of validity and compensation relating to specific claims of First Nations. In particular, the Tribunal is responsible for holding hearings to decide the validity of specific claims and any compensation arising from those claims. The text - consisting of 43 sections – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: rules of the Tribunal, Advisory Committee, costs, powers of the Tribunal, specific claims, extended meaning of Crown, exceptions, hearing and decisions.
Federal Law No. 123-FZ “Technical Regulation of fire safety”.
The scope of creation of forest fire safety system shall be to prevent fires and ensure protection of the population and property in case of the outbreak of fire (Art. 5). Separation distance from the boundaries of housing land-use planning to forest area shall be no less than 50 m, and from the boundaries of housing land-use planning with one- and two-storey constructions to forest are shall be no less than 15 (Art. 69).

Crown Proceedings Ordinance (Cap. 35).
This Ordinance concerns the right to sue the Crown and liability of the Crown in tort. It sets out rules of procedure of proceedings 0against the Crown. In any proceedings against the Crown for the recovery of land or other property the court shall not make an order for the recovery of the land or the delivery of the property, but may in lieu thereof make an order declaring that the plaintiff is entitled as against the Crown to the land or property or to the possession thereof.
