Part of these funds are also channelized through the European Union and supports interventions in poor countries. A considerable portion of its funds are allocated to NGOs. It has prioritized some countries such as Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya, Somalia, India and Nepal for implementing its development policy. Apart from development funding, Finland also provides Humanitarian Aid, in line with the EU. The Aid suppors NGOs and governments in terms of emergencies such as natural disasters. Finland also has a focus upon conflict resolution and post-conflict reconstruction
