Code of Practice for Soil Amendments (B.C. Reg. 210/2007).

The present Code of practice provides for the beneficial use of specified industrial by-products on land. Moreover, the Code provides consistent requirements across the province and protects the quality of soil as well as the surface and groundwater on sites where the by-products are applied. As of September 1, 2007 a discharger must complete and submit a notification form at least 30 days prior to a proposed soil amendment application greater than 5m3.

The present Regulation enacts section 385 of the Land Title Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the registration of land titles and the payment of fees thereof. Petroleum Development Road Regulation (B.C. Reg. 356/98).

The present Regulation enacts section 133(2) of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to petroleum development roads, which means a road constructed over Crown lands reserved for the construction and operation of a road, or operation of a road to facilitate exploration for, and the winning, extraction and removal of petroleum and natural gas, and includes any extensions of such a road over land other than Crown land provided for in the application or subsequently authorized by the commission.
